Data signal worse than before the last software update

Same here. Just got the bionic a couple days ago... No problems. Then I did the update yesterday to. 893 and.... Signal problems start today (shows connected to 4G full bars, but no connectivity). I knew I shouldn't have updated! Why don't I just trust my damn instinct???? Ugh...

Otherwise great 4G reception here in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX. Loving it.

QUESTION: off topic a little but- Are there any other known issues/manufacturing defects I should watch or check for with bionic??? Thanks!

Um yeah I agree but I have a razr not a bionic. I never had connection issues before but after update now I have to airplane toggle sometimes to get data back. very frustrating!

You need to install the 901 leak; this should take care of most of the radio/data issues.

Mine has actually been pretty tolerable. I usually have 1 or maybe 2 data drops in a day but they come back pretty fast. Overall I'm pretty happy with the phone after owning it for a week. I came from the Nexus and it had tons of problems of its own.

One thing I noticed and Idk how accurate the # is that's being displayed in GO launcher but the running programs and available ram. It seems the # gets lower as the day goes even killing the running apps so I've been powering mine off 1 time a day and it brings the ram up, gives everything a fresh reboot, the phone has been running pretty well, I can't complain. Service and signal has been dead on for me.

I live in south west Indiana almost in Illinois, almost in Kentucky.

Here's a pic, the available ram, it seems throughout the day it just gets lower and lower, I rebooted it about a hour ago. I'm guess in this is normal?

After the update to .893, I couldn't get wifi or 3G/4G. My wife's identical Bionic was fine, 4 bars of 4G, mine..... nothing. After 2 weeks with Motorola and Verizon, I got a new phone. It wasn't much better until I updated the software to .893. Now it's fine, no issues. I would suggest that if you are having problems, go to Verizon and demand a new phone.
