Delete Update.zip?

I searched but couldn't find an answer so.....After I install an update.zip file to my sd card and run it can I delete the file from the sd card without hurting anything? Thanks folks.

better yet you can make a folder on your SD card called Updates and rename all of your "update.zip" files and place them in there, in case you need them in the future, for example if one was a 928 theme for BB you would rename it 928BB.zip throw it in the Update folder and if you ever wanted to run that theme again just put it back on the root of your SD and rename it back to update.zip

To answer the initial question though, yes...after you run the update.zip it serves no purpose and can be safely deleted
