Deleting Email from server

I had the Droid and now I have the DroidX. I could delete emails from server on the Droid, but on the DroidX when I delete them, they stay on the server.How do I delete them from the server(Comcast). Droid had an option in the email account to delete from server, but can't find or don't no where on the DroidX.

Are you still using the stock email app? You may want to try a replacement email app and see if the selection for deleting emails once read is there. I use K-9 and I have that option.
