Deleting Text Messages Questions

I had all of my texts deleted again, I was wondering if this is a problem with the android operating system as a whole? I am not rooted, been using the stock messaging service and the stock home. Any theories? Is it possible that another app is screwing with the messaging service?

I had it happen only once after i tried mylock. uninstalled and not had it happen again.

I think it is a bug with just the Android OS itself on the Droid. I would recommend the "SMS Backup" app on the market, it does wonders.
