Did motorola just log into my gmail account?!

I got a message in gmail this morning stating that there was suspicious activity in my email account 14 hours ago. I took the IP (69.10.177.11) and did a whois, and here are the results. Should I be concerned ... ie, change my password? I hate to sound like a noob here, but is this my phone's address? I would think I would have seen this message quite some time ago though as I've had the X since launch ...

Thanks

Is ur phone using a form of motoblur.....if so it may be a proprietary moto app that accesses ur account like a widget that goes thru motos site .....like maybe a cloud service.

Sent from my Moto Droid using Tapatalk

Backnblack - I may do that later.

Rindaen, that link doesn't appear to be working, would like to see what it says.

xlinth, pretty sure the X uses a form of motoblur no? Regardless, I've had the phone since launch and this is the first time I've seen the message ... just seems odd to me.

Not sure why the link didnt work. Worked when I clicked it.

Its mainly a post like this one but someone made a call and posted the below.

Spoke to some Mid Level Engineer at the Motorola Node for Blur Services. Seems there is an issue where the Blur apps are attempting to gain access into owners Emails, I got an incident number and was apologized to at least a dozen times in a 10 minutes period.

I got a similar warning from Google/Gmail right after I switch from the Droid 1 to the Droid X.

Definitely something to do with the MotoBlur software/infrastructure.

Google and Motorola really should get their act together and not be sending these false positive intrusion warnings out to customers.

Motorola should get their act together. As far as I am concerned this is a Motorola issue that is happening with customers owning a Motorola phone. I want Google to report suspicious activity to me. Motorola is the company that needs to make their apps/widget/framework/whatever play nice.

That droid x code is a mess, in my opinion. What's up with the stock keyboard that takes up basically the whole screen in portrait mode and can't even figure out to put an apostrophe in can't? What's up with GPS apparently not allowing the phone to sleep and running down the battery? What's up with the ugly contacts icon that looks like an alien? They should've left that motoblur crap off the phone...a real shame

Mine puts the apostophe in can't when I just type "cant" without any problem. I think there is an auto-correct setting, maybe you have yours turned off?

FYI: The apostrophe is in the numeric keyboard. I have no idea what made them think people would use the apostrophe while in the numeric keyboard, but that is where it is.
