Disabling the ENTER key when text messaging

Since there is a SEND touch button, is there a way to disable the ENTER key on the keypad when text messaging? Since ENTER is also SEND, and it is directly under the DEL key, I often press it by accident, thus sending the text when I'm not done yet.
