Yeah as i was working tests on it it drove me nuts because i couldnt get it to install.
Well that was the fact it installs but it isnt in the drawer but if you open a file that uses it it will come up as an option.

What is the difference between the Openoffice that you can install in the Magic menus and the Openoffice that came with the phone originally?

The difference is as of 1.1 it is not installed by default so you dont get it with the rom any longer.

just got sourcery v1.1 from rom manager a couple of day ago and it is amazing, but i have been reading that im already a lil behind. So, i want to know why "check for rom update" in rom manager dosent work and i have tried going in to settings and in to "sourecery updates" and does nothing. I would like to be on v1.3 but it seem the most i can do is download v1.2 from the thread or site, but i would just like to get it through my phone if possible.
From what I read I thought I would be able to put sourcery v1.1 on the go through sourcery updates and update to v1.2 and then repeat it again to get v1.3, but I will download v1.2 from the thread and see if it works for me. But, if I'm coming from v1.1 do I have to wipe?

I think eagle was having people on 1.1 do the Fix#2 to get to 1.3 ...

Nope, once your on the current version any update they push can be done with the Sourcery Update option.
