DLNA Question

So my Samsung LED TV is DLNA capable. My question is what can I stream to the TV when I get the phone? Only user generated stuff like the HDMI allows? or will I be able to play my stored movies? Also can it act like a serial connection from a computer so if I wanted to use my X for a NES using an emulator and the WIi mote app?
