This has been driving me crazy as I'm sure it has others as well. Is there a way to keep the backlight on longer when your making, receiving or talking on a call ? Everytime I use the phone for a call or simply checking V/M, the backlight keeps going off every 1 or 2 seconds ! It's about to grow wings.
Also the big one. Can you set up speed dials ?? BTW, I did do a search on these.

There is an app called Screebl that will basically keeps your phone from going dark when held in certain positions. In there is an option for in call behavior. I believe if you set this for "enabled" it will keep the background light on for you.

I've never tried this myself, mine is currently set to off while at ear. Check it out and see if this doesn't help you with this issue.

Press the microphone... say Call John Smith. What is speedier than that?

Thanks guys ! This O/S is so much more diffent then WinMo though mainly having up to 10 various W/M devices and pre release testing well ovee 100, it was easier to adapt to then
I thought. And yes, I have found how rediculously easier the Voice command is.
Scarey how something so easy can be right in front of you. .I did just get it however.

When changing platforms, there is always a learning curve because you tend to think that the way you have learned on that platform is the "only" way. (Plenty of threads on here with that same mentality). But give it time and you will find that the new ways (such as voice dial and search) will become just as ingrained.
