I have my droid sitting by my computer tower. When someone texts me, I have to use my sausage fingers to try to make a text. After making 100 texts to someone, it gets annoying.

It would be nice if there was an app, once I turned my usb sharing on, that would send texts to a little pop up on my desktop, where I could type them out on my full sized keyboard, then when i turn usb sharing off, send the texts to my phone, to take with me when i leave.

I've seen a request for this type of app before -- as far as I know, there is no such software available.

Google voice allows you to send/receive text on the phone and/or the desktop. I use it all the time and have been happy with it. While it might not be your perfect solution, it is a solution.
