Dolphin Browser now with Multi-Touch

I refuse to download it. Every app out there from Mobilife that isn't an app but just a bookmark is pushing you to use dolphin. It's freaking annoying. I refuse to give them any business.

?? it's a unique browser, not a bookmark, and it's free...

and it works okay, there's another thread here dedicated to Dolphin with multi-touch

Tried it, and it's not so good. The multi-touch zooming works, but it's not nearly precise enough to be useful. There seem to be discrete steps that the zoom locks to. Double-tap zoom doesn't seem to work. And randomly, when I flick up or down to quickly go up or down a page, it will zoom in or out.

Potential is there, but clearly not fully baked yet.

I think its good, and the first Browser on 2.0 with multi-touch pinch to zoom. I guess you can compare it to iPhones browser or an HTC eris and then claim its not good or it sucks? It does have its hiccups for sure but Im not *****ing. Just the simple fact that this has hit the market a couple weeks after release means greater things are to come

Pinch and zoom doesn't work at all for me, even after updating it. The gestures are kind of neat but would be better if they were just part of the interface and you didn't have to activate them form the corner. All in all I find it cumbersome and it doesn't let you open new pages easily. I'll stick with the built in browser for now.

you can customize the gestures, to open a new tab is just to swipe an "N" by default. not hard to use, this is the only browser i use

Anyone else think the fonts look 'blurry" or slightly out of focus? The fonts in the default browser are crisp and clean, but the Dolphin browser just doesn't look sharp IMO.

I was just about to post this lol. I saw the info on twitter cause I am following DroidDoes. It works great! as I said before, whats an iphone?? ;)

Quite frankly, I don't get all the salivating over multi-touch. Sure, it's a cool gimmick, but I'd rather do a quick, efficient double tap that works perfectly rather than using two fingers to "stretch" the screen. Seems a little more cumbersome to me. Of course, to each his own.
