I wonder if it will ever occur to them that their decision to remove the things that made them unique just might have backfired and lost more consumers than it gained by mimicking the iPhone. As far as I'm concerned the Note 4 was the last great Samsung phone. Premium leather feel, microSD slot, changeable battery, great screen, etc. Its only down side was the tiny 16gb internal memory.

I actually feel that the Note 5 was one of Samsung's best devices. The cut the bezels by a lot, in fact some would say too much but I find it perfect, the software is cleaner, and the overall combination of look and feel is nice.

Be interesting to see the direction that Samsung goes in.

I thought the bezel on the Note 4 was a bit to narrow as it seemed that a lot of the time when I grabbed the phone I'd find some mystery app loading because I accidentally hit something on the screen. Looks great though.

This is an issue that phone manufacturers will continue to face. The ceo caught heat for over estimating the success of the edge display which cost the company money. It's hard to gauge as people's tastes evolves over the years. It was last year that I swore off Samsung and the nexus 6 was my phone of choice. A year before that I gave up a nexus 5 because I wanted a larger phone. Gave up a galaxy nexus for a note 2.

Point is that manufacturers lose money with inventory and make money with demand. And demand changes on the mood of the person.
