Apple, your efforts to denounce the X just keeps getting more and more pathetic.

Motorola Droid X is a new mobile phone in the market, but Motorola Droid X has some controversy in the market, and Motorola suggest not to buy Motorola Droid X. The reasons are as follows.

1. HDMI interface
2. Encrypted Bootloader

More reason: Motorola experts suggest not to buy Motorola Droid X - Motorola Droid X applications, Motorola Droid X cases, Motorola Droid X browser

It seems a 10 year old wrote that article!

Hey I am an apple user, well mac anyway, but these articles are just ridiculous. I will defend Apple to a certain extent but this is getting a bit out of hand now.

mods, can we just delete this thread before it gets out of hand?

meh......one post? Is it worth the fuss? nah...but it is allowed, hehe...I wish DF would make a 25 to 50 post requirement before news can post....it would help clean the crud from popping up! Motorola's Droid X is the best phone out....fin.

The article may be poorly written, but it brings up two good points as to why some users might want to wait for something else. The inability to transmit anything but images/videos recorded on the phone via HDMI is actually quite disappointing, highly unjustified since HDMI transport is encrypted anyway, and just as insulting as the locked boot loader.

Troll or not, the points are valid weaknesses which detract from the appeal of the phone with some demographics. Simultaneously, I think DX is a great piece of hardware; Motorola just isn't doing itself any favors with power users or the dev community and respective fans.
