Hello, my name is Graeme, I currently own an unrooted Samsung Fascinate. I love how customizable it is, simple to use. I've had it a while just never bothered signing up to a forum until I randomly stumbled upon the screenshot competition :)

Good day to all you droidgineers. I'm a British ex-pat, resident in Long Island, NY. I'm new to Droid (Verizon (Samsung) Droid Charge, not yet rooted) and the forum. Somewhat long in what teeth I have left, my ability to absorb new stuff is hampered by a childish, anally-retentive obsession, of which I am deeply ashamed, with understanding how it really works. Eons ago I was a computer man - an IBM Systems Engineer in the UK, when that job meant trying to make the software actually work. So knowledge is somewhat out of date, but if anyone needs any System/360 Assembler Language programming done, I'm your man.

Worked with the 360, so that makes me as out of date as you! Actually miss it! DancingNexus

Hi All!

I'm an Assistive Technology Specialist here in the lovely state of Alaska.(I help folks with disabilities such as motor issues, blind / low vision, deaf / hard of hearing, learning disabilities, etc.)

I'm the sole 'droid person in the office and we are starting to get more and more clients in that use them and so I'm looking to find comparable apps on the 'droid to ones that we use with our clients... Stumbled across this and thought "Ooohhhhh other droid fans! They must know something!! YAY!!" :icon_ lala:

For the work side, I'm mostly looking at productivity and communication things... for the personal, geeky girl, side of me, gimme the games!

Hello! I just signed up for this site a few days ago.. Found it VIA google, looking for a connectiong problem I was having with my Bionic. Here is the list oh phones I have had ( the best i can remember anyways ) for the last 10 years!!

Motorola P8767 Timeport (basically a dual band Star-Tac)
Motorola T720
Motorola V710
Motorola Razr
Motorola Q1
Motorola Q9c
Motorola Droid
Motorola Droid X
Motorola Droid Bionic

I DID have a Galaxy Nexus for about a week, hated it, turned my Bionic back on! The Bionic was the first phone that I rooted and got really serious about customizing.. Since then, I love it! Hopefully I will be on here a lot, learning new tips and tricks.. Giving what advice about cell service that I can ( my dad is an engineer for a company called Emerson Network power.. He designs all of the power systems for ALL of the major telco's around the United States... So I have a bit of insight about how things work, what companies are using what tech, and what they have planned for tomorrow)

Hey all. My name is Sean Hellman and I am an Android themer. I am new to DroidForums but not new to the Android community. Most of my work has been done over at Rootzwiki but I am planning on increasing my involvement over here as much as I can :D ya'll seem to have quite a nice vibe going!

I have been involved with Android theming and developing since the OG Droid but have only recently started releasing my own stuff. I am currently theming/modding for the Galaxy Nexus but am hoping to expand upon that shortly :D I look forward to spending much, much more time with all of you and welcome anyone and everyone to get at me for help on projects, troubleshooting, requests for themes/mods/icons/, future endeavors or even just to say whats up! Hope ya'll are having an awesome day!

Glad to have you with us! DancingNexus

Hey everyone,
I would like to start off by saying that I think I have finally found a home for my interest(technology). Honestly I'd still consider myself a newbie when it comes to the Android OS, but i just got my Droid Bionic 2 weeks ago to replace the Motorola Citrus and the difference is amazing. I have also begun to research the proper(read "safe") steps to achieve superuser access(root) for my new baby LOL. I love to tinker with electronics and have a little bachground in basic programming and Linux, but want to have a comfortable grasp before trying to do so. AnyHOO, all thoughts and suggestions wiill be greatly appreciated and if any of this useless information residing in my head could be of service to anyone, please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks!

Hello to everyone from the hall of fame city Canton Ohio where I'm an endoscope technician and father of 4. I'm new to the droid coming over from blackberry storm2 and so far this droid bionic is an outstanding device. I'm looking forward to developing some friendships and learning more about my droid.

hey my name is will. i have a droid 1. and i found this forum cause my screen stopped working. like the swipe to unlock screen i cant get past it. i found some suggestions but they are for the screen not working but you have to go through settings and i cant get there, for factory reset i believe. but that doesnt sound like it would work anyways. ive come to the conclusion that i will probably need to replace the phone. Crappy!~!!

Hi All,

I'm new to the forums and just want to introduce myself. I've been hooked on Android since the first Motorola Droid came out and now I am using the Droid X2.

I also develop apps, for about a year now. I do it professionally and for fun. I am also the lead developer on the RoboBrain SDK, a new game development SDK for Android.

Please let me know if you have any dev questions, I'd be glad to help.

I look forward to meeting everyone.
