This is my 2nd Droid. Moving over from a Droid X. Just got ICS last night (7-2-12). Am curious to see what it brings to the RAZR.

Glad to be a part of this community. I currently have a Droid X through Verizon in the U.S.A. I was messing around and put an leaked version of ICS and it was to buggy so I tried to go back to stock but was unable because of the latest OTA update Verizon pushed out, so I ended up bricking my phone but found a way to put Milestone X on it ( a version from Europe ) and it's on system version 4.5.604.MB809.ACG-nTelos.en.US Model number Milestone X Android version 2.3.5 I upgraded to the Razr but want to give my DX to my little sister and I was wondering is there anyway I can make it a prepaid phone that she can use? if so how and where can I get the information on how to do so. If you can help Thank You Very Much
Hello to all and a special shoutout to COL Dave.
We, both, have a long history with computers. COL Dave, do you recall the IBM 5280? In 1968, I ran IBM Punched Card Machines and agree with you that we have come a long way. Today we carry more processing power and data storage in our shirt pocket, than in the massive mainframe systems of the 70s.
I can tell many stories of the way things were and know that we can and must grow with today's ever improving technology.
My one question for the many experts reading here. Which forum(s) are better for learning these modern tools. I upgraded from a Motorola Droid 2 to a Droid 4, because of my fingers do not work well on the virtual keyboards.
Thank you to each of you for bravely asking questions and sharing your wisdom.

Hi all, new member. Recently rooted my Droid X2 and am running Gingerbread 2.3.5. Specifically joined to try to find a JellyBean or even an ICS for the Droid X2. Anyone have any pointers?

Hi All -
I haven't had much of a chance to look around so let me get the ball rolling:
I filled out my profile and here I am in need.
I have some issues that have shown up since I 'upgraded' my RAZR to 'Ice Cream':
Got a bad case of the 'slows'
SPB 3D Shell doesn't work
Some widgets won't display on home screen panels in 'native' launcher mode (not SPB)
Booting in Safe Mode seems to speed things up so that narrows my search to apps - three that I would like to continue to use are: lost phone security, Kaspersky Security and the SPB 3D Shell.
Verizon Tech Support took me as far as: "Try a factory Reset and then go to 'Play' and reinstall apps until things start to go bad (Can't save media because Backup+ isn't working so I'm reluctant to 'reset' until I can backup the media).
I looked on my SD Card and the size of the gameloft--> Games-->GloftGTFM folder path seems way out of reason: 862MB and all I have done is play some Angry Birds and a little Jewellust. The largest file is in GloftGTFM is: VWEZY3VWWUTAEZUKHLK0TAEZUK.ba4 . It is 93.39 MB. I don't know what this file is and whether or not I can remove it and whether it will improve my speed or capabilities.
The next largest file is gtracing_960X640.mov and it is 53.56 MB.
Any help or coaching wouldn be appreciated.
TIA
- Bill
