Hello everyone!
Just got a Razr Maxx HD for my dad and decided to join the forum.
The naming of the Razr series is confusing and one of the only reasons to hate Motorola.

To complicate things further, there are many 'droid' forums - though all of them have a wealth of information.

As someone who has purchased three Motorola devices in the last two years, someone might consider me to be a Moto fan.

Yes, Motorola does not do business in India anymore, but I can still source the gadgets somehow.

I look forward to ask many questions in the appropriate threads.

Hi all, I am new to using Motorola devices but not new to Android. I have rooted tablets and other types of phones but now I am trying to root my Motorola RAZR V xt886 and use CM ROM for my new phone. I am disabled but I can still program and do photo touch-ups as well as doing great bible studies on my PC. My hope is to work on projects for the Motorola RAZR. Maybe someone is already got a CM Rom for the phone let me know. Thanks all.

Hi everybody! I'm Jon, and I've been using Android since January 2011, starting with a Droid X and moving to a Droid Razr Maxx in February 2012. I'm currently trying to get a Razr Maxx HD that a friend wants to sell me for really cheap working properly (trying to clutch on to that grandfathered Verizon unlimited data plan!), and I just posted a thread about it over in the Maxx HD forums, so if anyone can help me over there, I would greatly appreciate it. Otherwise, if I can't get that running, I'm looking into either getting the HTC One or Moto X very soon.

I've always rooted my devices, but I've finally gotten into flashing different ROM's in the last few months, and I love trying new ones out. I currently have my Razr Maxx on the CM 10.2 nightlies, and if I get this Maxx HD running properly, I'll probably put it on those as well, although I've also been looking at the Rage HD ROM's, too. Glad to be a part of the community, and thanks in advance for any help anyone has to offer!
