Droid 2 Disassembled

if the droid 1 does im sure the 2 does as well, the main board is same size and almost identical, the test port which some use as external antenna jack is on there as well, look at the pics on first page and see where it is :)

just a thought, but maybe that red circle could be a spot where the phone could have global roaming capabilities? i heard a d2 is coming out and its going to be a global phone

I circled in red where on the main board seems to me like an additional memory slot? or something. If anything i have a feeling the R2D2 edition will have that slot filled up with something, maybe hardware wise the R2D2 will be different as well who knows. Any ideas though guys?[/B]

Most likely the Sim slot for the GSM version....
This might just reaffirm the Droid Pro being a D2 World Edition...good call B'N'B

sorry to bump and old thread but i didnt want to make a new one...
I disassembled my droid 2 and now am having low signal issues.
I know the antenna is on the speaker and tried switching it out with a broken droid 2 antenna/speaker but it did nothing.
i dont know what else to do and think i might just return it and tell them i have too low of signal to make phone calls and need replacement.
anything i can do to fix my signal?
