Droid 2 Extended batt running GREAT in my Droid 1!

STOCK Droid 2 Extended batt upgrade DOES fit the Droid 1 and IS functional. The door included with the battery fits without ANY modification, direct fit.
Theres probably a few threads floating around already but go buy one while they still have them in stock before this secret is out hah.

The biggest difference I notice is at work while my service is terrible... about a 20% difference or so in usage during the daytime.

Only adds about 1-2mm at most of thickness on the back side, cant even really tell. The color is still black but with a shade of blue sparkle it appears. You can only really tell in direct light. Even at that, still amazing.

Ide say a worthy purchase for anyone looking for a tad longer run between charges :icon_ banana:

Yes. Stock extended, NOT the one you get with the phone though in box. I have a corp discount and it came to $40.02, I think it was around $52 or so without the discount according to someone else.

No, it's an extended battery (1840 iirc) and it's $49.

It sticks out about 2mm and the cover is blue. So there are some minor "issues" you will have to deal with.

I actually prefer the additional thickness now, even if I go back to my old battery Ill never switch the door. As much as my phone is in my pocket or on my desk Ill never notice the difference in color really.

FYI......

Off charge at 4pm... its after 10 now.. moderate use, full bright, email sync 3 accounts.. at 80% now... AMAZING.. normally ide be around 60 for sure by now maybe less.

From 5% to 100% has taken about 4 hrs to charge though off my ac wall charger.. definitely an increase in charge time. It took a LOT to kill this damn battery.

I went from 4pm yesterday to noon today before it died.. it only died after I turned the brightness up all the way and watched divx movies to kill it. BEYOND impressive.

Im at 24hrs of use right NOW and at 40% left.. thats being used after work.. at night.. and at my building here that I go in and out of service at ALL damn day.
