Droid 2 lagging so badly i can't use it

I believe I just do detect speeds and then set the sliders to 1000 and 1000, then set on boot, ondemand. I do not believe i have set any profiles up.

I have no idea what is wrong, I am on a fresh data wipe with not a single app isntalled thats not factory, and a brand new blank sd card and i'm still lagging. The only thing i can think of doing is updating the os to 2.3.3 from 2.2
