Droid 2 Locking/Freezing

So I have a Droid 2 Global.....and i've noticed here lately sometimes it'll "lock" or freeze after doing something like reading a gmail.....or basically anything. my phone doesn't overheat ever and It's not rooted or anything?

what could be causing this? it has like NO apps installed on it.

press the hard power button once to lock it then unlocking it solves the issue? I think It's under 30 days old so should I just return it for a refund?

Do you have an appkiller or antivirus installed? if so then uninstall them, they generally cause those types of issues.

Remove the auto task killer or anti virus if you have it.

Now the hesitation is it you see the buttons light up but it takes awhile for your phone to turn on so you can unlock it.
