Ok so I know u can get a prewiew of text or phone calls to show on the lock screen but when I press the call or sms button they flash for a sec then dissapear. Can u make them stay up longer.

Does anybody else have the issue of losing signal every couple minutes? I know it isn't my phone cuz I updated my roaming and it worked fine on liberty but I'll go from 3 bars of 3G and then to nothing and it will just go in and out... its also independent of location since its happened everywhere I've been since I've put Miui on

Not the end of the world its just a little annoying and I was wondering if this was a known issue or not.

Thats what made me switch back to cm7. I kept losing signal and would have to reboot each time. Super annoying!

1.85 MIUI4D2/DX had a big problem losing signal for me and others (DX and D2)...the previous release did not, that's what I'm running until the next MIUI release w/the GB kernel.

can anyone look at their about phone stats and tell me what their build number says? you would think it would say 8.5.11 but it says 2.3.20.. android version says 2.3.5 so i know it took. just wondeirng

That is correct, that's 1.8.5 (which is the reported version number on the MIUI site) - 8.5.11 is just the release date. Not sure why they are using 2.3.20 in the version number, other than that's the Froyo kernel version the ROM is running on...

hmm yea i don't remember having any issues with 1.7.22... however I think I'll tough it out and keep going... maybe the newest one will be a little better... kinda annoying always having to back up and flash over though... o well haha still an awesome rom! dancedroid

I had that problem on 1.8.5, haven't seen it on 1.8.12.

1.8.12 issues that seem to be confirmed:

1. FC on changing status bar toggles from full page to compact - no work-around
2. FC on changing ring tones w/Theme Manager...try using the MP3 option in the OS, or Ringdroid from the market has been reported to work for changing ring tones.

Other than that, as far as I can tell so far 1.8.12 looks quite good....camera and video (record/playback) work, GPS works (always has for me on all MIUI builds), etc. Launcher Pro still FCs after every reboot, but I'm used to that.

I'm on 1.8.5 with jcatt's camera patch and sometimes when I'm listening to music or if I'm switching from airplane mode back to normal my phone reboots. Anyone else?
