Droid 2 rooted to gingerbread OTA?

I'm on a droid2 that I just sbf'd back to 2.2 froyo and rooted. Can I ota to gingerbread or no? Do I need to sbf back to stock first?

Thanks for the reply, but I thought for sure I read somewhere around here that there was a problem with being rooted and getting an update somehow.
