We have three awesome pieces of news for you guys regarding the Motorola Droid 3. Front and center is the best news of all, the device will be released to direct-fill on July 7th, and come to regular retail stores on July 14th! This is confirmed from a couple of different sources. The second bit of info to share is that you can now download and check out the Droid 3 User Manual. The Manual says that the phone is definitely coming with a new version of MotoBlur, if that floats your boat. Here's a download link for the Droid 3 User Manual. The last thing to share is the below pics. These are just a couple of the pics that Droid-Life was able to snag from the 360 degree web-view of the phone that is not available yet.

It's almost here folks! dancedroid

Yeah I've read the same in more than one place, but always speculation--never pointing back to anything released by Verizon.

I was itching to get this phone. But, the thing is, my Droid 2 is still pretty new (to me) as I snagged it on a Black Friday sale last year. I have an upgrade waiting on deck, and the fact that this thing has a keyboard gives me hope for a Droid 4 having one.

I'll let this one go simply on reason of my "upgrade every other version" rule that I like to follow. If the Droid 4 has a qwerty keyboard, and (very likely) the 4G, I'll be all over that.

Those of you with the OG Droid, this is probably the upgrade you're been waiting for. :)

In the manual it shows a MicroSD card slot and notes that the actual card is sold (possibly) sold separately.

My biggest question is did they unlock the bootloader. like the rumors were whispering

Now with more apps than ever that you won't use and can't uninstall!

does this mean we can order the phone online july 7th? when would it ship?

Yes 16GB onboard memory. Sdcard sold separately (up to 32GB).

Not quite. No 4G and only 512 RAM are probably deal breakers for me.

Also, they can keep the physical keyboard and if the bootloader's locked, they can keep the phone as well.

Yeah same for me. I would love this phone if it was given to me but the next phone that gets my money is most def gonna be 4G. Still, this is gonna be a cool phone. I'm also looking forward to a nice thin phone with no physical KB. Droid2 is the only slider Ive ever owned. Just looking for a change
