Droid 3 Ringtone Downloads

Hoping someone will be able to help since Verizon was absolutely no help at all. I am a new Droid 3 owner, and I tried downloading 2 paid ringtones from Verizon. I got the text message and followed the instructions for downloading but got an error message from both messages saying the attachment failed to save. I have tried Verizon forums as well as emailing Verizon with no luck. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks.

I haven't had this problem, but I use an app called Ringdroid that let's you take any song on your phone and make it into a Ringtone, Alarm, or Notification. Maybe you can get what you need from that. It's free.

Hate to say, casterp, but paying for ringtones is a thing of the past. You can download tons of free tones from Zedge or Myxer (either the apps or webpage). You can use Ringdroid like The_Rick_14 suggested to cut snips of your own mp3's into ringtones. Or if you have any PC skills, use a program like Audacity to cut them on your computer and move them to your phone.

I know that's no help for what you've already done. All I can really say is try the downloads again to see if they work. If not, harass Verizon through every media you can until you get results. Usually if you badger unreliant customer "care" services enough, they'll fix your problems to get you to shut up. Or you may actually get to speak to someone who knows what the hell to do (sadly, you usually don't)
