droid 4 with pop email

I recently switched from a droid 2 to the droid 4. Now i can no longer read my work pop3 emails. I tried the stock email program, which had worked fine with the droid 2, but it wont work on the droid 4. I tried k9 mail and same problem. All my iphone coworkers can read emails fine on their phones and I've copied their configurations as best i can. Any suggestions?

What exact configuration settings are you using? Does your work email support Exchange?
