Htc rezound is nice but the whole CarrierIQ thing makes me nervous. I wouldnt get the D4 either becuase it just looks fat like the razr. They made the device thin but put it all in the bezel.

I would be so mad if i just broke a phone after having it for a couple of days, especially after its rumored for its toughness.

Lame that the nexus only gets a carpet stairs drops. lets see it go through the same paces as the razr and iphone.

I agree on the lameness of the Nexus test. I'm concerned that the RAZR shattered from a pocket level drop though. I've dropped my OG Droid 3 times. Once was pocket level onto a ceramic tile floor. Another was from bathroom vanity onto granite floor. I was shaving and I put my phone on the vanity and then inadvertently threw a towel over it. When I grabbed the towel, the phone went flying and crashed on the floor. It landed face down. I was sure the display was going to be shattered but neither time was there any damage. The 3rd time was onto a linoleum floor so that wasn't as bad. 3 drops, no case, no damage. I'm impressed.

The OG Droid was a little tank! I dropped mine so so so many times and it never broke. It doors have plenty of battle wounds now though. RIP

My d1 has been drpped on tile lots of times, i am hoping the nexus is tough but in truth, moto makes tougher devices than Samsung. fingers crossed though.

My D1 looks like someone played street hockey with it but the screen is unscratched(screen protector ftw) and it still runs. I got a free D2 is the only reason I don't use it. I hope the D4 will be as tough but I doubt it.

My D1 is my fav backup phone. Whenever I bork one of my newer phones, I re activate old faithful til I fix the newer one. D1 is just awesomeness. I have all of em' can't wait to get my paws on the D4!

Wow, lol, you definitely seem like a droid fan. I was out when they started bluring up the place. love the D1 though. just not any of the fake droids after that. i say fake becuase d1 set the bar and clearly the rest of the droids were completly different. over half the phone was changed, therfore i say they arnt part of the D1 line. :biggrin:
