Droid Battery/Random apps turning themseleves on

I had battery issues and some one told me to get advanced task killer free app to turn off all my apps in the background. Well I have started to do this, but sometimes when I go into the programm to kill some apps there will be others that have just turned them selfs on. For instance, alarm clock, corporate calendar, A online radio. How do I make sure this apps don't randomly turn themselves on and use up some of my battery?

You can't. Search the forums and you'll see that Task Killers are a lost cause. There are plenty of other ways to conserve battery (change brightness, turn off bluetooth and wifi when not in use, etc.).
