Turn off these advanced tasks

Forgive me if this sounds stupid but can you turn off these things that are killing my battery off? Things I've never opened are running.
Im using the free advanced task killer
It works but is it needed? Can I just turn them off?

If it's not showing usage under about phone/battery usage then it's not using your battery.
