droid-bionic-5-9-905-update-ready-to-rollout-fix

Nothing in Groves TX

DROID RAZR MAXXIMIZED!!!! PREPARE TO BE VANQUISHED!!!

I had 905 on my phone for a week or so. Unfortunately cant say this update provides anything new. I didnt notice any improvement in connectivity or battery life. That said, didnt find any new bugs so thats good. Overall this update from the end users perspective is pretty benign... dont expect any new goodies are any real noticeable change. hopefully the last update in preps for ics

I dont think we should be excited about this seeing that this update doesnt change much. Seems like a waste of an update.

I am happy that the bionic is still being supported. What's wrong with that?

Alternate download location?

I am running System version: 5.9.902.XT875.Verizon.en.US and successfully downloaded the update, but I tried installing the update twice and it failed both times.

I accepted the update, and the Droid Bionic rebooted and started the update process. The "package" icon with the progress bar appeared, and at about 25-30%, a "triangle exclamation mark" icon appears. Then there is about a 5 second pause, the Droid Bionic reboots, starts up normally, and eventually an "Update Status The software update failed!" error displays. The OS did not update.

Is there any way I can get at a log to see where it failed?

Is there an alternate download site so that I can flash it from Recovery mode to watch the progress?

Where is the download stored? Can I use Recovery more to flash from where the file is downloaded from Verizon?

Does anyone know if it matters that I'm not in my "home" region to get the update? I'm traveling, so does this mean I get it based on my location, or my account? I'm guessing it's my account, but I'm curious.

Are you people that are getting the update ota part of motorolas feedback network/soak test? Its 2pm in utah and still nothing.
