Droid (Bionic) Does Impressive Quadrant Scores

Why are people saying they are unimpressed that the stock bionic is only marginally scoring higher than a OC'ed phone?

Doesn't that score blow a stock droid out of the water?

Only fair comparison would be a stock vs stock or OC vs OC.

I find it ignorant that some of you even make that the point of argument.

Well said sir!!

^^^^that's what i said...

No one knows if the Bionic will be broken and overclocked. Until then as far a I'm concerned it doesn't go much faster than my Droid.

I feel the same way. I'd be more excited for the Atrix. However in a year I expect better battery tech, screen tech, etc...

Front camera, meh. 4.3 too big. 512 memory too small.

I'd agree, not that impressive to me either- like i said in another post-
i'm betting it's a year anyway before i see anything that wows me off

The real question is why it took forever for the phone to send its quadrant result. And that was on WiFi.

That's about 500 points better than my best score on my Droid. I don't know what to think about that lol

My Droid does 1600 overclocked... I'm not particularly impressed.

Also you need to run quadrant a few times to get an accurate score.

My Geo Metro goes fast with a rocket attached.

Fail

I let my fingers do the talking

Sorry, but benchmark scores don't tell you the kind of experience you can expect on a device. They only tell you how the benchmark does. Still though, nice phone. Too bad it will most likely have a locked bootloader. that in itself turns me off. If only my DX was unlocked.

Your right....unless your doing something that is graphic intensive it doesn't mean much.

It's just one of those "mine is bigger than yours" things :icon_eek:

So I guess mine will be bigger than yours then!!!:icon_ nana: haha

I think its funny people smashing the quadrant score when its CLEAR quadrant didn't even know what the processor was or what to do with it... wait for dual core support THEN see what's up, saw the same stuff when people were using the viewsonic tablet...

Come on people this was a brand new phone not even on the market yet that is STOCK and pulling 2k quadrant scores. We have a monster on the way people open your eyes. This phone will be sick 512 ram and all. We can't judge what we truely don't know.

Enough said...I wonder what some of these folks will say about the Atrix score...

And after this past year I dont really too much weight in Quadrant. It might be good for phones out the box, stock, gpu scores

I downloaded quadrant to see what mine would be and I got 2409, but quadrant is optimized for my device, I'm rooted / rommed and OCed to 1.25. I'm sure that when quadrant gets updated for the Bionic, we'll see some much better results.

I get 2700 on my d2 running ultimate droid at 1ghz. No overclock :)
