Droid Bionics "unfixable flaw"?

The Earth is in fact round and I'm a very credible source for that rumor......now onto the "unfixable flaw"

You all did notice the title had quotes yes? : )

Of course I noticed the quotes. Why do you think I am not all bent out of shape about this? ;) All I said was I'd wait a week before buying one.

However, with the now stated end of Q2 ship date, I am seriously considering the Thunderbolt.
 
Really wingdo? The Thunderbolt is last years tech essentially. In my opinion since you and I are already in this deep whats a few more months? At this point I have succumbed to the idea I may be looking at summer/ late summer to upgrade. I'm bummed yes but perhaps GB will make the wait bearable..

Then again I don't blame you for just pulling the trigger. You've waited long enough. I just can't get myself to settle because I'm tired of waiting. Id kick myself in the buttt later on.....

If I but the Thunderbolt I am buying it through best buy's buyback program. I can sell it back in six months and they pay me I want to say 80% of the actual value of the device, not what I paid verizon for. With that said we have another mobile conference coming up and I be about time the tb is ready for sales we will learn more about where vzw is going.
 
More importantly, my wife would kick my butt (or, more likely, forcefully remove appendages) if I bought such a device and then decided its not what I wanted... ;)

Yeah, I'm still OG D1.

How about band aided? I am going to give it a month and read what people have to say. I am sure the source is right. Interesting. Dammit!
 
CK, yeah I know it's old tech already, but I am growing tired of waiting for a larger screen. I love Moto, but at some point you just have to move on. Hell, I have thought about buying a used X. But if the bionic is really not coming out until the end of june and I want to give it a week or two to make sure it is ok, that is basically another six months.

Yeah, i sent this via tapatalk. You got a problem with that?
 
It's very hard for me to believe that Motorola would release not one but two new phones with major problems. As others have said though I will wait at least a month after the Biionic is released, and keep checking back here of course to see how this plays out.
 
Wingdo I totally understand. I'm not too happy about the wait neither.

I just can't pull the trigger on any of the upcoming handsets. I want to have that "I gotta have that!!!" feeling. In time I guess

Hey CellZealot,

I'm bkw13 from hofo, the guy that Xbernaut was replying to when this "unfixable" stuff first got started. The thing that I'm concerned about is that Xbernaut said, and I quote, "both have a major unfixable flaw that will plaque it forever.", yet just 4 days later, Winston said it will be fixed very soon, possibly this week or even that day. That is a big conflict, and I never saw Xbernaut or Winston explain why they conflicted so much on this matter.

That is basically the killer. 6 Months!!!! Thats a longgggg wait.
 
Winston and xbernaut rarely come back and explain their comments in depth.
I never really believed the "unfixable" part and was glad to see Winston say otherwise.
 
We have no idea what level of support or modifications will be at all possible with these phones.
We have been told to expect that they will be much more locked down than any previous phones.
