What did you wipe in recovery before and after install? Did you format /system in recovery before install?

This ROM is real picky with the wiping...and once it boots, don't touch it for about 10 minutes or so, let it settle.

I had problems all night so I flashed a nandroid then downloaded one that was not everclocked 1.2 seems to be working fine now.

Well regardless im still loving this rom. I just installed it with the icy theme earlier today and it is one of if not the best I have used so far

Its my ONLY problem. Maps, and the "local" app work, good alternatives.

Wiping is key to install of this (and any) ROM.

Make sure to start with a /system format.

Officially a 1.2 hater...

My sequence :

Format /system
Wipe data/cache x5
Wipe cache x5
Wipe dalvik x5
Install
Wipe data/cache once
Wipe cache once
Wipe dalvik once

I let it boot, waited, it got to activation screen, waited, sat for few, then rebooted on its own, let it sit again, then it settled.

if you cant sign into google. you didnt WIPE enough

so....

1. Format system then...
2. WIPE cache/factory reset x3
3. wipe dalvik x3
4. flash rom
5. wipe cache/factory reset at least once
6. wipe dalvik at least once
7. reboot

Yep, followed them step by step and then tried again following the quoted sequence that pistacio quoted and still wont allow me to add an account. Also I let it sit for about 15 min after it booted. I will add that I am using the 1.0 GHZ version.

Don't format /system after install, it will wipe the rom and you'll have to start again.

You are using safestrap, correct? Some reported problems with a specific version. I believe I'm using 1.08f.

See I can't get 1.08f to work good at all..it wont mount/read the sdcard properly heck it wont read the external sdcard at all..
But 1.08f if the only version that will allow you to flash to the no-nsafe side...
So I use 1.08e which works perfectly the only prob is it wont allow you to flash the non-safe lol
and no matter what steps I take TH wont flash on my droid ising CWM...oh well..I just wish a good dev could tear apart 1.08f and make it work properly..that would be the shizzle..rick#2 has abandoned the d3 community for the d4 and no longer answers messages...
