droid email select all question

I just got my droid and it is nice. Setup my pop3 emails using Gmail and they work fine but of all things i cannot figure out how to select all emails and delete. i am coming from a BB and i just grab the top and bottom quite regularly and mark 8-10 msgs at a time "read" and off i go. What is the proceedure on the Droid? Is this K9 email package worth a look?
