Droid Incredible won't update to 2.2 out of box.

Just yesterday purchased a Droid Incredible for the secondary line on my account. Phone is brand new, but must have been sitting around for a while for it to not have shipped with 2.2 (Phone firmware states firmware version is 2.1 update 1). Didn't think too much of, would just run the software update for OTA, but the phone says it can't find any such update. Ran a few searches to reduce redundant topics but couldn't find a situation involving an unrooted or out of the box brand new Incredible. Anyone have advice?
