You guys are within days of what I feels is the best rendition of ics. Motorola really put a lot of effort into it and you will see a totally different blur. We are getting to where blur is no longer a curse word.
No ICS in central PA. No soak test either that I know of. That is unusual for Moto to not soak test a major upgrade...not update. But who knows...with all the leaks and the number of people running them, plus the confusion Moto had trying to get the invite out successfully, maybe they decided to go without a soak test.
I was emailed the other day about getting in on the soak test but I've yet to hear anything else or get it, I just powered down and back up then re-checked for updates and nothing. Guess we shall see, I wouldn't expect updates at night when to me that would be peak time unless its super late but that would put it into the 23rd.
That's usually how they do business. Most of the time that timeline is shorter than it appears provided there's no Gingerbread update fiasco and they pull the update.
Well, not so fast everyone. Android Central is saying that Verizon says today...Moto is saying a select few today and others over a week or so. See this article: Droid RAZR/RAZR MAXX get Ice Cream Sandwich! | Android Central. If this is true then shame on Verizon for putting out bad info and shame on Moto for toying will all its users.
..if I'm not mistaken, the RAZRs were the only phone left before the Droid 4 came out. Would this mean any new ICS development has moved on to the D4? That would be great news.

no ICS OTA in South Eastern PA yet, I also would be surprised that there was no soak for a such a large upgrade but now since Verizon has let the cat out of the bag saying the update starts rolling out 6/22 imho people will not be happy at all if they have to wait 3-4 days (or longer) for the soak to finish and then the OTA be made available to the public

kinda related but not completely, when I check for update it just searches for ever. I don't get a "You're up to date" or that a new update has been found. Please help!
