Which way do you insert the 4g SIM card?
Gold contact up or down?

yes. It was a pain as there was very little room to get it to sit in place. The door should easily close and open without pushing the SIM card.

The UPS man brought my Razr about 10:30 this morning.
After recognizing I could use some set up help I went to the Verizon store
and was in business in about 30 minutes.

I am coming from an OG that I thought was special but the Razr
is amazing-- great screen, super fast on 3G, widgets, keyboard, etc
I am so pleased. If GNexus turns out to be better or different
so be it but I am going to be satisfied unless this BadBoy fails me for
some reason.

I think I read somewhere that it was as good as the Droid 3 in direct sunlight: usable. I guess we'll have to wait for the sun to shine again to get some real answers.

Been playing with mine for a few hours. I wanna wait til I see the Bionic, DX2 and D3 screens before talking about Pentile. It is so un noticeable at MY viewing distance its almost not noticeable at all. I can see it....but its like I said.My distance is between 1ft, 3in and 1ft, 9in. At the closest distance, yea I can see it. at the furthers and further than that, I cant.

Tested splash guard. It works. My DX1 screen got wet from the rain and I had to wipe it dry and do a battery pull to fix it. The RAZR screen got wet from me washing dishes and kept working normally. First thing my girlfriend said was its so thin...and she loves using my DX1. She now loves my RAZR...lol. Speaker sounds louder than my DX1, which is nice. No lagging, everything is just fast n quick.

Man, all of these posts are making me really excited for tomorrow. I've got one waiting for me at the store... the manager even charged it for me so it'll be ready to go! Glad to see I'm not the only one upgrading from the OG Droid, can't wait to get my hands on my RAZR!!

So probably some dumb questions. Were going to get my GF a Razr today. Does the sim card come with it or do u have to pay extra for one. My old phone I had required me to pay for the sim card and next we are adding a line for her, does the activation fee get paid upfront or on the bill? Just trying to spend as little today as we can since the damn thing is $300 bucks.

don't know about adding a line, but I think you can put it on your bill
