Droid root request

I've had many droid devices. I'm running 2.3.6 on a Droid Razr and the build says 6.5.1-167_DHD-14_M2-5. I want to root this, I could care less about ice cream sandwich; I do not see where ICS rises to the expectations of all the hype. What is a valid method to root this?
