Droid X Camera, what a waste.

The X is a phone with a camera function. It will never come close to even a 4mp camera in quality becuase the lens and electronics are just not up to what are included on a camera. The pictures and video appear washed out slightly. And this is not the settings. It's on all X's.

I honestly think it is as simple as this...

Daytime with bright light: Good to great pictures.

Any other medium to low-light situation: Don't bother. Plain terrible.


Not to start a p!55ing match, but the iPhone 4 takes remarkably good pictures in both daylight and night time. So, despite "camera phones" having a very small lens that cannot physically draw in much light, it is possible to manufacture one that doesn't completely suk at low light pictures. That, and battery life, are the only areas I really give the iPhone 4 a big edge over my DX.

I agree, the iPhone doesn't have that washed out look. Almost faded a bit.
