hey guys, im a novice to rooting and heard a lot of buzz about it and thought i should do it. i did it and it worked, i removed all the bloatware and enabled tethering. i used the tether once, and although it was cool to be able to do, i really have no need for it. my device started running like crap, freezing, restarting several times a day, and a lot of other annoying crap. i also started getting notifications several times a day that there is a nes os update ready for install. i try to install it and it always fails. this has been going on for several months now and i really need help. i just want to use the phone as verizon intended with all the updates. i have unrooted, and done a hard reboot to factory settings but still no luck. can someone tell me how to get it back to its origional working order, thankls!

Why not just root using gingerbread? One click root for any device... I have it on my phone and it never fails

i did root it, i dont konow what u mean by "root it with gingerbread" but my problem is i rooted it, changed my mind, unrooted it and now cant update my os. i have an os from 6 months ago. please read my origional post, im a novice.

Because you changed done of the system stuffs... You won't be able to take the ota update... But have no fear... It's easy enough to update and put everything back to stock... You'll want to sbf... You can use either method linked in my signature... And that should get ya back to complete stock
