Droid X on the SPRINT network

My wife has an old DROID X that she doesn't use anymore. Her sister is on SPRINT, and would like to take it from us and use it. Is it possible for her to use the phone on SPRINT? If so, what steps are involved? Taking the phone into a sprint store and having them activate it?

Won't work. Sprint and Verizon frequencies are not compatible. You can flash Verizon phones to metropcs and cricket I believe.
