Hi, my fiancee and I are going to London and Paris at the end of the month for our honeymoon. We both have the Droid X. I was looking for some definitive answer as to what services we can expect to utilize while overseas. Is it true that WIFI is the only connection that we will be able to receive? Will things such as GPS and text messaging be unavailable?
Also, is there any chance that Verizon might have a policy where they can let us borrow a global phone to use while away, just in case someone needs to get in touch with us instead of us waiting to get a WIFI connection to download new emails?
