So, i see you used a root SBf to flash your droid version 2.2.1?? At least this is what i can deduce from your posts.
If you had version 2.2.1 and flashed, then this was your boo-boo!
You are running the wrong bootloader for your os now.
Current is:
2C.7C
Your's is:
2C.6C
Download the update.zip :HERE: to the root of your Sdcard, Flash inside your Recovery mode. Clear your cache and baseband after your install, reboot phone.
then follow a guide to root that does not involve an SBF unless your positive it has the correct bootloader for FRG83D.
I recommend you use Superoneclick to root your froyo phone.
[APP]SuperOneClick v1.6.5 (Root, Unroot, Enable Non-Market App, Get UNLOCK code) - xda-developers
Also you can use this to install a better recovery option and also has an option to root based off the SBF file you used:

Most likely your gonna have to do all three to get you up and running! Install Update.zip - Root With program - Then flash recovery! Hope this works for ya!dancedroid
