not to hijack this thread... but my idea goes something like this:

it would be a multi-frame cartoon detailing a conversation between two people in a park. person 2 has a laptop bag slung over his shoulder.

It would be a framed cartoon, highlighting a conversation between two people outside, in a park or something, under a tree. Person 1 is standing; person 2 has a laptop bag slung over his shoulder.

FRAME 1:
Person 1: "You're always on your Droid ... I just don't understand why a phone can't just be a phone..."
Person 2: "Well, I'll tell you --" {Person 1's phone rings}

FRAME 2:
Person 1: "Hey -- what's the main export of Hong Kong? My boss needs to know real quick!"
Person 2: "Here, use my laptop..."

FRAME 3:
Person 1: "Can't you just look it up on your Droid??"
Person 2: "Yeah, probably." {opens laptop ... windows boot sound}

FRAME 4:
Person 1: "(to boss): Sir, I'm going to have you call you back..."
Person 2: (muhahaha)

FRAME 5:
{10 minutes later}

FRAME 6:
Person 1: "Jerk. I don't have wi-fi out here..."
Person 2: "Droid DOES."

Who writes these? They are painfully unfunny.

They arnt that funny but do you think you could have said that a tad nicer? Lol, these pictures may not be hilarious but they are definetly entertaining. i enjoy this over the alternative....nothing. Got a whole 30sec of my life and im fine with it.

Wow dudes and dudeses, if you cant appreciate the small value in it then dont click it. :r_c:No one said you have to read this thread... Look at the forest gump movie. Forest brought Jenny flowers every morning, the task alone isnt significant but shows he cares. Get the metaphor? And besides its art... Not everyone appreciates it, but that doesnt mean you have to be disrespectful about it. Just move on and let the rest of the world enjoy it. Lots of people like comics and find them entertaining, Lots of peeps dont find it as entertainment, just stick with what you like and click it or dont. Simple as that :blink:

First, I didn't click; it's on the front page. The reason I chose to share my distaste for the comic was honestly because I care. I challenge anyone to tell me they find these comics funny in a sense that they aren't terrible. If we are going to display something on our front page that is described as an 'official' product, I'd believe we would want it to be of great quality. These are less than sub-par.

I may be a hard critic, but I speak the truth--I'm not the only one who feels this way.
