Dropped Droid 15 ft

I don't understand why someone always has to complain that the thread is worthless without pics. What kind of person would go around making up a story about dropping their Droid and asking advice about what to do?

Jeez.

Well... the thread would be more interesting with pics. Who doesn't like looking at pics of others' gadget misfortunes? :)

A picture is worth a thousand words.:) I for one would like to see the damage. Hell I am quite impressed that it still works even. It's not that I do not believe them that they dropped the phone, but visualizing the damage can be hard to do at times, especially with a few drinks in you.

Why do you open it? I can honestly say that I always use the virtual keyboard to type on it. if you're opeing it to wake it up, just press the button on the very top of the Droid to wake it up, you really dont ever need the manual keyboard.

wow the screen works flawlessly still. thought you'd have some black pixels after a fall that high.

were you drunk droiding?

yeah i was completely surprised when i picked it up that the glass didnt shatter or anything...

ha nah i just stood up and it fell out of my sweatshirt pocket... probably not the best place to keep it

i just found my best buy reciept and it says it can be returned before january 31( due to christmas gifting) will they still accept the phone as it is? anyone have any experience like that before?

Those pics almost made me want to hit the report abuse button(sarcasm) lol. But seriously that's very little damage for a 15 foot fall. Still looks damn good to me at least

aside from fraud, this wouldn't work if the phone is more than 2wk old (the only time you can add insurance)

Not encouraging fraud, but just wanted to clarify that insurance can be purchased within 30 days not 2 weeks.

Looks more like a butt induced bend, than a fall...not saying op is lying, just looks that way.
Levi carpenter jeans, for Droid transport FTW.

I was just trying to figure out how the OP could have been using his phone leaning over a balcony and my wife suggested taking pictures of naked women. Now I would have never thought of that, and I'm not suggesting that the OP did. But perhaps I've learned something new about my wife???:D
