dropped my phone in the toilet...

why would you WANT to use your phone after its bee there

Some used phones on eBay have been there and done that...

I have no doubt, but again.... why would you want to use your phone after it's been there?

I personally wouldn't. But I've never even gotten a phone damaged by water, let alone drop it in a toilet like the OP did, in all the years I've had a cell phone.

Just saying that those phones have a way of ending up on eBay, so Buyer Beware.

You're supposed to take your phone to a Verizon store. Tell an employee that it doesn't work and hand it to them. Let them touch it and fiddle with it and then tell them everything worked fine until you dropped it in a dirty toilet! :icon_ banana:

Electronics are funny where water is concerned. I have a flash drive that has been through the washer and the dryer at least 3 times. Never even lost any data. At least it came out clean! Sorry for your loss :(
