Dropping 3G, Should I Update Baseband?

So lately I have been losing connection to 3G.

My baseband right now is C_01.3E.O3P.

Should I update the version to this one from Pete? : http://www.droidforums.net/forum/bugless/50198-baseband-c_01-43-01p-no-prerequisite-required.html

Also, what do I need to do to flash a new baseband? Just flash through Clockwork, and that's all? Or do i need to wipe data and clear cache?

Give it a shot. If it doesn't work better you can always flash back. No wipe needed just flash.

Well, I just tried it and i got an error on installation, so it aborted the install, any help?

Did you download it from Pete's? You could either download again or flash R then P.

Yeah, I downloaded Pete's. I'll try flashing R then P though next.

That should work. I've been on P forever so I've forgotten some stuff but I think when it debut that was the way to upgrade. Let me know if it works.

Just curious if you have juice defender installed? Since installing it ive lost 3g. Even after uninstalling it.

Sorry guys, forgot about this thread. Well, I just went another day without installing the new baseband, and my 3G was excellent. Pretty odd.

But cnmsale, I did have Juice Defender installed awhile ago, but never noticed anything about 3G issues.
