I spray this every few months.

Google Now is really getting good. Got in the car today:
"Ok Droid Turbo, Help me out with something please...."
(Seriously, that's my current launch phrase)
"Play... Shock The Monkey."
She replied: "Which app should I use?"
"Rocket Player."
Profit.

Nice... I don't remember her ever asking me that.

Cool!
I like the "Help me out with something, please..." My launch phrase is, "Hey lady, you there?" I think I will add to it tonight.
I hope you have a much better experience with this phone! Sounds like you're off to a great start!

Been that way since I can remember. I use Google now for everything. Turn on flashlight, bluetooth, turn off wifi

Get an Echo/dot and you'll have even more fun...

OK Alexa... turn on the flashlight on my phone.....

Nah. ;)
Alexa... Lock the doors, turn on the lights, turn up the T-stat, and so much more, a great addition to GNow on the Android...
"Turn on flashlight" would only be beneficial if you can't touch the phone

I'd have to buy new locks. I really like my locks.
I'd have to buy a Nest or Ecobee. I really want the Honeywell.
I do have Hue.
I like Amazon. I have Prime. I don't like them enough to get an Echo. I think it would be like (too) many of my purchases. Fun for a week or two, and then a paper weight.

Not sure about all the abilities Honeywell has to offer, but you're certainly not limited to only the Nest or Ecobee if you ever decide to go full automation. DSC, Interlogix, and the IQ from Qolssys all do what @Efin referred to. Just my two cents, fwiw.
