Duplicate Apps in Drawer

Recently I've noticed that some of my apps are showing up twice in the app drawer right next to eachother. Is there a way to fix this wihtiut uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

Actually, uninstalling and reinstalling isn't and option for all of them, as one of them is the stock alarm clock app. My droid is not rooted and I'm using the default home application.

ive seen that on my droid plenty of times. I usually turn it off and turn it back on. Eventually it'll go away.
