E-mail Trash

I have a Motorola Driod (original) and have it linked to my e-mail accounts. I have deleted e-mails which end up in my trash bin. Is there a way to empty the entire trash bin or do I have to delete them individually? I have about 80 e-mails in the trash and would like to get rid of them all at once.

One at a time. I have over 1,500 myself. There are a few solutions:

1) Delete one at a time and do this once a week or so
2) Never delete and use your computer to do so
3) Delete the account (or just clear the data) and set it up again. This will clear EVERYTHING.
4) Try a third-party email app like K-9
