Easytether vs PDAnet

A little late to the fray but: I was a satisfied customer of PDANet for a couple of years. However, I recently ditched Windows in favor of the Ubuntu Linux distro. For a while PDANet was saying they were developing a Linux version, but that link has since disappeared from their website. Just recently discovered EasyTether in the Amazon Appstore, and it supports Ubuntu right out of the box. I installed it over the weekend and it works GREAT. Just wish I knew about this before I got PDANet, because it offers the same thing for less money (and I wouldn't've had to buy TWO products to do the same thing).
